Our Lady of Guadalupe

December 12, 2016

Our Lady of Guadalupe, pray for us! Mother, may we live our lives in humility and service in this life and follow your holy example. In this life, Mother, may we follow your example and say, " I am the handmaid of the Lord, be it done unto me according to Your Will." You were lowly, humble, and hidden and God has exalted you to Queen of Heaven and Earth! Oh Mother, may we totally give ourselves to your Son. Always live a life pleasing to God and become the saints we were created to be. Everyone that comes to you and feels your motherly embrace is lead to your Son. When we pass from this life may we see your beautiful face. Please Mother Mary, pray for us! Amen.

Anima Christi

Soul of Christ, sanctify me
Body of Christ, save me
Blood of Christ, inebriate me
Water from Christ's side, wash me
Passion of Christ, strengthen me
O good Jesus, hear me
Within Thy wounds hide me
Suffer me not to be separated from Thee
From the malicious enemy defend me
In the hour of my death call me
And bid me come unto Thee
That I may praise Thee with Thy saints
and with Thy angels
Forever and ever

"I love You, O my God, and my only desire is to love You until the last breath of my life. I love You, O my infinitely lovable God, and I would rather die loving You, than live without loving You. I love You, Lord and the only grace I ask is to love You eternally....My God, if my tongue cannot say in every moment that I love You, I want my heart to repeat it to You as often as I draw breath."- Saint John Vianney.

St. Michael the Archangel,
defend us in battle.
Be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the Devil.
May God rebuke him, we humbly pray,
and do thou,
O Prince of the heavenly hosts,
by the power of God,
thrust into hell Satan,
and all the evil spirits,
who prowl about the world
seeking the ruin of souls. Amen..

O glorious prince St. Michael,
chief and commander of the heavenly hosts,
guardian of souls, vanquisher of rebel spirits,
servant in the house of the Divine King
and our admirable conductor,
 you who shine with excellence
and superhuman virtue deliver us from all evil
, who turn to you with confidence
and enable us by your gracious protection
to serve God more and more faithfully every day.

In this day and age, the greatest trick of the evil one, is to make people believe he doesn't exist.

Armor of God Ephesians 6: 13-17

Today I claim VICTORY over Satan by putting on the WHOLE Armor of God!

I put on the Girdle of TRUTH. May I stand firm in the truth of Your Word so I will not be a victim of Satan's lies.

I put on the Breastplate of RIGHTEOUSNESS. May it guard my heart from evil so I will remain (tap heart 3 times) pure, holy, and protected under the Blood of Jesus Christ.

I put on the Shoes of PEACE. May I stand firm in the Good News of the Gospel so Your peace will SHINE through me and be a LIGHT to all I encounter.

I take the Shield of FAITH. May I be ready for Satan's fiery darts of doubt, denial, and deceit; so I will not be vulnerable to spiritual defeat.

I put on the Helmet of SALVATION. May I keep my mind FOCUSED on YOU so Satan will not have a stronghold on my thoughts.

I take the Sword of the SPIRIT. May the two-edge sword of Your Word be ready in my hands so I can expose the tempting words of Satan.

By FAITH, Your Warrior has put on the WHOLE ARMOR of God! I am prepared to live this day in SPIRITUAL VICTORY!

Deliverance Prayer

Heavenly Father, I praise and thank Thee for all You have given me and I ask forgiveness of my sins. Please cover me with the protective and Precious Blood of Your Son, Jesus Christ (Ex 12:7), and increase Your Holy Spirit in me with His gifts of Wisdom, Knowledge, Understanding, Discernment (1Cor 12:4-11), Guidance (Jn 16:13) and hunger for prayer to help me know Your Will and surrender to it more completely (Titus 2:14).

Holy Spirit, please remove more blocks in me to receiving and sharing Your LOVE & GRACE; heal more of my negative emotions and wounds in my heart and spirit; and sever and break all spells, curses, hexes, voodoo, witchcraft, and all negative genetic, inter-generational and addictive material; past, present, or to come, known or unknown, against me, my relationships & family, finances & possessions, ministry and transportation vehicles.

I ask forgiveness from my own body for not taking better care of it, and I forgive its negative reactions to me. I forgive and ask forgiveness of others for my sins and failings (Mt 6:14-15), and ask that my whole person - body and mind, heart and will, soul and spirit, memory and emotions, attitudes and values - be cleansed (Rev 7:14), and renewed by Your Holy Spirit (Rom 12:2).

In the Name, Power, Blood, and Authority of Jesus Christ, I bind and break the power and effect in and around me of any and all evil spirits who are trying to harm me (1 Peter 5:8-9) in any way, and I command these spirits in the Name of the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit to leave me peacefully and quietly, and go immediately and directly to the Eucharistic Presence of Jesus Christ in the closest Catholic Church tabernacle to be disposed of by Jesus, our Lord and Savior. Lord, please heal the effects of these spirits in and around me.

Dear Holy Spirit, fill me (Rom 5:5) and let me over flow with Your great LOVE. All this, Father, I pray in the Name of Jesus Christ by the guidance of Your Holy Spirit (Jn 16:13).

Immaculate Heart of Mary, Spouse of the Holy Spirit, Seat of Wisdom and Queen of Peace, please PRAY FOR ME, Amen.

St. Francis of Assisi Prayer

Lord, make me an instrument of Your peace. Where there is hatred, let me sow love; where there is injury, pardon; where there is doubt, faith; where there is despair, hope; where there is darkness, light; where there is sadness, joy.

O, Divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled as to console; to be understood as to understand; to be loved as to love; For it is in giving that we receive; it is in pardoning that we are pardoned; it is in dying that we are born again to eternal life.

Three O'Clock Prayer

Dear Lord, remembering the hour when You experienced death
So that we might have Eternal Life,
May we appreciate in our hearts
the necessity of Your sacrifice for us
And with Your help, Your guidance, and Your grace,
May we be made worthy of it.

Prayer for the Seven Gifts of the Holy Spirit

O Lord Jesus Christ, Who, before ascending into heaven, didst promise to send the Holy Ghost to finish Thy work in the souls of Thy Apostles and Disciples, deign to grant the same Holy Spirit to me, that He may perfect in my soul the work of Thy grace and Thy love.

Grant me the Spirit of Wisdom that I may despise the perishable things of this world and aspire only after the things that are eternal,

the Spirit of Understanding to enlighten my mind with the light of Thy divine truth,

the Spirit of Counsel that I may ever choose the surest way of pleasing God and gaining Heaven,

the Spirit of Fortitude that I may bear my cross with Thee, and that I may overcome with courage all the obstacles that oppose my salvation,

the Spirit of Knowledge that I may know God and know myself and grow perfect in the science of the Saints,

the Spirit of Piety that I may find the service of God sweet and amiable,

the Spirit of Fear that I may be filled with a loving reverence towards God, and may dread in any way to displease Him.

Mark me, dear Lord, with the sign of Thy true disciples and animate me in all things with Thy Spirit. Amen.

The Magnificat

MY SOUL DOTH MAGNIFY THE LORD, and My spirit rejoices in God My Savior; Because He has regarded the lowliness of His Handmaid; for, behold and hence forth all generations shall call Me blessed; Because He who is mighty has done great things for Me, and holy is His name; And His mercy is from generation to generation upon those who fear Him. He has shown might with His arm, He has scattered the proud in the conceit of their hearts. He has put down the mighty from their thrones, and has exalted the lowly. He has filled the hungry with good things, and the rich He has sent away empty. He has given help to Israel, His servant, mindful of His mercy—Even as He spoke to our fathers~to Abraham and to His posterity forever. Amen.

St. Michael Chaplet

6. By the intercession of St. Michael and the celestial Choir of Virtues,  may the Lord preserve us from evil and suffer us not to fall into temptation.

7. By the intercession of St. Michael and the celestial Choir of Principalities, may God fill our souls with a true spirit of obedience. Amen.

8. By the intercession of St. Michael and the celestial Choir of Archangels, may the Lord give us perseverance in faith and in all good works, in order that we may gain the glory of paradise.

9. By the intercession of St. Michael and the celestial Choir of Angels, may the Lord grant us to be protected by them in this mortal life and conducted hereafter to eternal glory.

Say one Our Father in honor of each of the following leading Angels: St. Michael, St. Gabriel, St. Raphael and our Guardian Angel.

Concluding prayers:

O glorious prince St. Michael, chief and commander of the heavenly hosts, guardian of souls, vanquisher of rebel spirits, servant in the house of the Divine King, and our admirable conductor, you who shine with excellence and superhuman virtue, deliver us from all evil, who turn to you with confidence, and enable us by your gracious protection to serve God more and more faithfully every day.

Pray for us, O glorious St. Michael, Prince of the Church of Jesus Christ, that we may be made worthy of His promises.

Almighty and Everlasting God, Who, by a prodigy of goodness and a merciful desire for the salvation of all men, has appointed the most glorious Archangel St. Michae,l Prince of Your Church, make us worthy, we ask You, to be delivered from all our enemies, that none of them may harass us at the hour of death, but that we may be conducted by him into the august presence of Thy Divine Majesty. This we ask through the merits of Jesus Christ Our Lord.

Pray the Chaplet of Divine Mercy

The Chaplet of The Divine Mercy

How to Recite the Chaplet

The Chaplet of Mercy is recited using ordinary rosary beads of five decades. The Chaplet is preceded by two opening prayers from the Diary of Saint Faustina and followed by a closing prayer.

1. Make the Sign of the Cross

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

2. Optional Opening Prayers

You expired, Jesus, but the source of life gushed forth for souls, and the ocean of mercy opened up for the whole world. O Fount of Life, unfathomable Divine Mercy, envelop the whole world and empty Yourself out upon us.

(Repeat three times)
O Blood and Water, which gushed forth from the Heart of Jesus as a fountain of Mercy for us, I trust in You!

3. Our Father

Our Father, Who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name; Thy kingdom come; Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil, Amen.

4. Hail Mary

Hail Mary, full of grace. The Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou amongst women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death, Amen.

5. The Apostle's Creed

I believe in God, the Father almighty, Creator of heaven and earth, and in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died and was buried; He descended into hell; on the third day He rose again from the dead; He ascended into heaven, and is seated at the right hand of God the Father almighty; from there He will come to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and life everlasting. Amen.

6. The Eternal Father

Eternal Father, I offer you the Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity of Your Dearly Beloved Son, Our Lord, Jesus Christ, in atonement for our sins and those of the whole world.

7. On the Ten Small Beads of Each Decade

For the sake of His Sorrowful Passion, have mercy on us and on the whole world.

8. Repeat for the remaining decades

Saying the "Eternal Father" (6) on the "Our Father" bead and then 10 "For the sake of His Sorrowful Passion" (7) on the following "Hail Mary" beads.

9. Conclude with Holy God (Repeat three times)

Holy God, Holy Mighty One, Holy Immortal One, have mercy on us and on the whole world.

10. Optional Closing Prayer

Eternal God, in whom mercy is endless and the treasury of compassion — inexhaustible, look kindly upon us and increase Your mercy in us, that in difficult moments we might not despair nor become despondent, but with great confidence submit ourselves to Your holy will, which is Love and Mercy itself.

For a moment, pause and remember what JESUS did for each one of us. He died, so that we may live. And at this hour of Mercy, (3 P.M.) pause for a moment to give thanks for His self-donation.
